What MingPath is
MingPath turns your birth details into a BaZi chart, then explains what your chart says about your year in plain words. You do not need to know any Chinese metaphysics to read it. The technical work stays underneath. What you see is clear writing about your year ahead.
The method and the interpretation are Daniel Siew's. MingPath calculates your chart from your birth details, then selects the passages from his content library that apply to it. It is not written by hand for each person, and it is not fortune telling.

Enter your name, birth date, birth time, birth place and time zone. You see your chart and how 2026 has been showing up in it. It is a good way to test whether the method feels true to your own year, before you look at 2027.
2. The MingPath Year Ahead report for 2027
The 2027 MingPath Report is 26 to 27 personalised pages. It sets out how 2027 meets your own BaZi chart, month by month, with your key opportunities and pressures and three strategic moves selected for you. After your free reading you fill in a short personalisation form: one main focus and up to two secondary focuses, from six areas such as career, business, wealth and relationships. Your focus changes what the report emphasises. It never changes what your chart says. The early price is USD 169 until 30 November 2026. From 1 December 2026 the price is USD 199.
Why 2027 is the year to look ahead
In BaZi, the year does not turn at Chinese New Year. It turns at Li Chun (立春), the Start of Spring. In 2027 that is 4 February 2027, two days before Chinese New Year on 6 February. On that day the Fire Horse year, Bing Wu (丙午), gives way to the Fire Goat year, Ding Wei (丁未). The months before it are the quiet window to plan things that depend on timing. What is BaZi (八字)?
BaZi, also called the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a classical Chinese system that builds a personal chart from your birth date and time. The name means eight characters: a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch for each of the Year, Month, Day and Hour pillars.
